Though Turbo is incredibly cute, rendered in cel-shading and given an arsenal of little quips, the real stars of the game are the tracks themselves. Finally, the Challenge mode offers up a series of crazy tracks crowded with twists, turns, and trouble.

You are Turbo, a space snail that must deliver precious cargo across the cosmos under the nose of terrible pirates. Snail Mail is delightfully straightforward. Hopefully, word of mouth will help this little gastropod across the finish line, because this is a great little racer that deserves to be downloaded. Sandlot Games' Snail Mail snuck out recently, but was quickly buried under an avalanche of big names. There is certainly no shortage of racing games on the App Store right now, but there's always room for one more - especially if it stars a snail delivering packages in space.
